“Being out in nature and experiencing wildlife is an inspiring time for me. There is a lot going on to see and hear all around on the ground and in the sky. The more you understand it and become aware, the more you will enjoy it.”
“I was curious about learning how to do some amazing things in dog sports with my dogs.Teaching them agility has helped me create a stronger bond and keeps us all in shape.”
“Inspired by my collection of over 500 Golden Books for children, I finally decided to create my own. My Dad wrote a story about our family history in 1977 and I held it all those years. It was time to fulfill my dream and create my book with his story.”
“I went to a meeting of the Worcester County Beekeepers Association and couldn’t believe there were over 300 people there. It’s the oldest bee keeping association in the country. I was inspired to start my own hive in my back yard with 3000 bees and a mentor to help me.”
“I started collecting vintage new year’s postcards when I was in my 20’s. I was fascinated with the beautiful art and the messages. They served as a slice of life from that time period like the text messages do today.”
“I have been restoring cars since I was 14. My dad was an antique car buff and he inspired me. Once I completed my first car I was hooked. I bought that 1936 Chevy for five dollars, a rooster, a hen and 50 pounds of grain. I have just recently completed my 361st antique car restoration.”
“I grew up observing my mother paint with watercolors. She inspired me to learn by doing it on my own. I really enjoy capturing the places I have traveled to through my paints and sharing the experience with the viewers”
“I enjoy my senior hobby of driving my Miata at the Thomson Speedway Club in Ct. It takes coordination and a love of fast driving. It is tremendous fun. Take a drive through my eyes and see how great it feels.”
